Online LLL Meetings and
Chats
La Leche League
International is proud to host online meetings on breastfeeding topics.
This is your chance to attend a "virtual" La Leche League meeting,
hosted by accredited La Leche League Leaders. You can ask questions and
share your experiences with other parents in a respectful atmosphere.
All
mothers are welcome at these meetings, including members of "in person"
LLL Groups, mothers with no other LLL support available, and mothers
just wanting to see what La Leche League is like!
Web-Based Chats/Instant Messenger Chats
NOTE THE CHAT SOFTWARE HAS BEEN TEMPORARILY
DISABLED. WE ARE WORKING TO BRING IT BACK. Until
then, follow the AIM instructions and use them.
Here are instructions for AIM chat meetings.
In
round robin meetings, accredited Leaders answer one mother's question
at at time, while in support meetings, each mother's questions will be
answered by a particular Leader. Chat protocol is explained at each
chat--it's easy and fun.
Online LLL meetings are held
on the following days and times:
- Sunday 9:00
p.m. (Eastern US Time) (Round Robin
Q&A Meeting)
Not sure what time the
meetings are where you live? Use the time
zone converter linked here to help!
We
are very grateful to our
sponsors and supporters, who publicize our online meetings on
their Web sites. Thanks also to
Anne and Troy Easterday and the
Bellingham Breastfeeding Coalition
in Washington State, USA for their
donations that funded the purchase of our chat software.
Leaders:
If you are an LLL Leader who wishes to lead online meetings, visit our information for
Leaders page
(Leader password required) then contact us.
If you wish to participate as an attendee, please read "Chat Etiquette
for Leaders Who Aren't Hosting" before
joining an online meeting.
As
always, all mothers, whether they are already LLL members or Leaders,
just have a quick question, or want more frequent chat experiences, are
welcome at the chats, held every week and described above!!
