My baby is
a total sling baby. Since she was born, I have had her in the sling.
She would stay in there all day. Sarah Ann does not love the stroller
or the shopping cart. She will do fine just attached to my body. I even
climbed a waterfall this summer with her in my sling.
Babywearing
has been my key to a happy baby. I could write forever on the benefits,
but Dr. Sears has covered most of that already. I came across a photo
of Sarah Ann wearing a sling with her "baby" in it. It rejuvenated
me! I have never seen a 15-month-old doing the maternal things that
she does. She saw her sister's play sling and immediately wanted to
put it on. As you can see in the picture, she was glowing with pride
and delight. She knew exactly what she had achieved. It made me know
that my efforts have all been worth it.
