LLLI Founders Receive Health for Humanity Award

La Leche League International is thrilled to announce that the
Founders of La Leche League have received an award from Health for
Humanity, an international health related not-for-profit organization
based in Wilmette, Illinois, USA. The award has been presented to the
seven Founders for their demonstration of commitment to the
principles of the unity and nobility of humanity and the equality of
men and women.
The Founders will receive this prestigious award on March 31, 2007 at
the Opera Gala, an annual event sponsored by Health for Humanity. The
Opera Gala, a black-tie optional event, will be held the evening of
Saturday, March 31 at the Swissotel on Wacker Drive, Chicago,
Illinois, USA and tickets are $200 each. For every two tickets
purchased by an LLL Leader, member or supporter, LLLI will receive
one ticket free. This will provide the Founders with complimentary
tickets. The evening will include dinner and music by the members of
V.O.I.C.Experience.
Health for Humanity is also willing to reserve a block of rooms at
the hotel at a special price if enough people are interested. To
