La Leche League of Damascus, Syria

La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. La Leche League of Damascus, Syria offers support and information through:

Mother to mother support
Monthly meetings
Telephone help from experienced leaders
Lending library of books on childbirth, breastfeeding and related subjects

Meetings

Meetings will be held on the first Sunday of each month starting on August 5th, 2007. They will be held in an apartment in Rukn Deen next to the Abu Nour Mosque from 10-12. Please call 274-0992 for specific instructions and/or helping calls.
