The third edition contains five new articles which originally appeared in the Couple to Couple League newsletter, including two on polycystic ovaries. Readers should heed Shannon's frequent recommendations to consult a nutritional counselor if considering supplements for health problems. Some doses discussed far exceed the RDA for pregnant and lactating women, especially for Vitamins A, B complex, C and E. Shannon's religious beliefs and interest in Natural Family Planning are reflected throughout the text.
