Dear Supporters,
It has come to our attention that the new generation of more sophisticated email filters now blocks specific words crucial to our mission. In order for us to communicate with you, we need you to put llli.org into your Safe Sender List to be assured that LLLI email gets through to you.
Given the large number of email programs and online servers that our supporters use, we cannot provide steps for all such programs, but listed below is information on how to adjust your spam settings for several of the more popular email servers.
Thank you for helping us communicate with you about the mission of LLLI. Together we can build a culture where nursing is the norm and spam filters no longer “see” words vital to communications from LLLI as inappropriate.
=== Outlook Users: ===========================
* On the Tools menu, click Options.
* On the Preferences tab, under E-mail, click Junk E-mail.
* Click the Safe Senders tab.
* Click Add.
* In the Enter an e-mail address or Internet domain name to be added to the list box, enter the name or address you want added, and then click OK.
* If you have already received the email You can quickly add a name to the Safe Senders List by right-clicking the junk e-mail message, and then, on the shortcut menu, pointing to Junk E-mail and clicking Add Sender to Safe Senders List on the shortcut menu.

* Click onto the "Options" link in the upper right corner of your screen
* Select "Contacts"
* Click on the "Safe List" link
* Type llli.org in the "domain text box"
* Click "Add"
* The domain name llli.org will automatically be entered into your Hotmail address book.
=== Yahoo! Users: ===========================
* Open this email about Email Filters
* Click "Add to Address Book" next to the icon on the far right
* The email address will appear in the email field
* Verify that the information is correct
* Click "Add to Address Book"
* Our email address will be automatically entered into your Yahoo! address book
=== Gmail Users: ===========================
* Click "Contacts" on the left-hand side of your screen
* Select "Create Contact"
* Add the domain name @llli.org in the "Primary Email" field
* Click "Save"
* The domain name @llli.org will automatically be entered into your Gmail address book.
=== AOL Users: ===========================
* Open this email about Email Filters
* Click on the "Add Address" icon.
* The email address will appear in the email field
* Verify that the information is correct
* Click the "Save" button
* Our email address will be automatically entered into your AOL address book
=== EarthLink Users: ===========================
* Open this email about Email Filters
* Click on to the "Message" menu
* Select "Add Senders" to your address book
* Our email address will automatically be entered into your EarthLink address book.
=== Netscape Users: ===========================
* Open this email about Email Filters
* Go to "File" menu
* Select "Add to Address Book"
* Enter the domain name @llli.org in the address field
* Click "OK"
* The domain name @llli.org will automatically be entered into your Netscape address book.
=== NTLWORLD Users: ===========================
* In the "Tools" menu, click "Options"
* On the "Preferences" tab, under E-mail, click "Junk E-mail"
* Select "Safe Senders" and "Add"
* In the "Enter a domain name to be added to the list box", enter @llli.org
* Click "OK"
* The domain name @llli.org will automatically be entered into your NTLWORLD address book.

* Right click on the email
* Select "Add to contacts"
* Click "Save"
* The email address will be automatically entered into your Blue Yonder address book.
If your email server is not on this list, we recommend you try using a search engine to find the necessary steps to add LLLI to your Safe Sender List. We apologize we cannot include here the steps that all of our supporters need.
