Here’s a new, easy way
to raise money for La Leche League International—one that Leaders,
Group members, and others can all use! Special thanks to Leader Nancy
Barry of Idaho Falls, Idaho, USA, for sharing this great fundraising
idea!
LLLI is now working with
an online marketing research firm called i.think inc. You can sign up
with i.think inc as a survey panel member and designate LLLI as the
recipient of your fee. It won’t cost you anything beyond a few
minutes of time and your opinion. You will be contacted only when you
meet the criteria for the survey sponsors’ target audiences, asking
you via email to participate in online research surveys. Every time
you complete a survey, La Leche League International will be automatically
credited. The amount earned per completed survey ranges from $2 to $20
(US). There are also regular drawings for large cash prizes. Here’s
how you can get involved:
1. Go to the Web site www.ithinkinc.com
and choose “Sign up to become an i.think inc panel member.”
2. Fill out the sign-up survey.
3. Under the “Funds for Charity” section, select La Leche
League International from the list of names.
4. Once you have completed the sign-up survey, including a valid email
address, you’ll be contacted with an Internet address and password
for specific surveys for you to take part in.
5. At the end of the survey, press the “Submit” button,
and La Leche League International will automatically be credited as
the recipient of all money you earn. It’s legitimate and safe!
An ethical research company
that maintains an online respondent database, i.think inc acts according
to marketing association guidelines. Maintenance of your confidentiality
is essential to their ongoing success. Email lists are not sold or provided
to anyone. You can opt out at any time. The sign-up survey asks for
personal information only so that you can be matched appropriately with
sponsor surveys. Your name and information will be used only to contact
you about sponsored survey opportunities.

for donations made by online shoppers at iGive.com. If you haven’t
already enrolled in this simple program, please consider doing so at

People who live outside the

as the organization to benefit from their shopping. All shoppers may

to see merchants who are located outside the USA.

Funding Development Department at LLLI would like to thank those of
you who have been using iGive.com for your online purchases. LLLI’s
donations from the program have grown from an average of $46 a month
a year ago to an average of $210 per month in recent months. Following
a wave of publicity in NEW BEGINNINGS, LEAVEN, and the OnLLLine Chronicle,
we received a record donation of $429 mailed to us in February (purchases
made through November 30, 2003). Many thanks to those of you who shopped
via iGive.com for your holiday gifts! It is making a difference! If
you haven’t already, please sign up. Each new person who joins
