Speakers at the 2003 LLLI Conference

La Leche League International’s 18th Breastfeeding Conference, July 3-6 2003, has a variety of speakers lined up to present up-to-date, interesting, and informative sessions. Recently added to the list is Lawrence Cohen, PhD, of Massachusetts, USA. Columnist for the Boston Globe and author of numerous books, Cohen is scheduled to speak about topics that relate closely to his latest books, Playful Parenting and Mom They’re Teasing Me.
Others scheduled to speak at the Conference include Jay Gordon, MD, who will hold sessions on the breastfeeding vegetarian mother and the family bed; William Sears, MD, and Martha Sears, RN, who will be speaking about nutrition as it relates to life, energy, and attitude; and Audrey Naylor, MD, DrPH, who will discuss exclusive breastfeeding and how it is possible.
