Donate Your Birthday

About two months before your birthday, Facebook may prompt you to donate your birthday. You will be able to select one of the 750,000 U.S. nonprofits (hopefully La Leche League International!) on Facebook, set a goal amount and enter a custom message. Your friends will then see the post and a prompt to donate. The mini-fundraiser is automatically public, and ends at midnight on your birthday.

Use GoodSearch, powered by Yahoo, as your search engine and each search results in money for LLLI.

Tis Best

These work like any other gift card, except that instead of buying stuff from a store, the recipient can spend it to support the charity of their choice (hopefully La Leche League International!). For more information, visit The FAQ section is especially informative.

Identify groups in your community doing fundraisers for charitable organizations and ask how LLLI could qualify to be one of the benefiting groups.

Businesses Supporting Charities in Lieu of Exchanging Gifts

If your business donates to a charitable organization during the holidays in lieu of exchanging gifts, submit La Leche League International as one of the charities for your business to support. If your business currently does not make a donation to a charitable organization, ask if your business has a charitable fund and if they would consider making a donation to La Leche League International.

You can print to paper or to a PDF file.

For best printing results, open the site in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Although you can view the site well in any browser, printing from other browsers might not operate correctly.

1. Browse to the web document that you want to print.

2. Click the Print button that is displayed on the web page (not the Print command on the browser menu or toolbar).
This opens the browser print window. The window displays a preview of the document that will be printed. The preview might take a minute to display, depending on the document size.

3. In the Printer box, select the desired printer.
For example, if you are working on a Windows computer, and you want to print to a PDF file, select Save as PDF.

4. As required, configure the other options such as the pages to print.

5. Click the Print button.
If you are generating a PDF, click Save. You are prompted for the name and folder location to save the file.
