La Leche League of Iowa

La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. All women interested in breastfeeding are welcome to attend the monthly Group Meetings or call a Leader for breastfeeding help. La Leche League of Iowa also provides health care professionals with continuing education opportunities and access to the latest research on lactation management.

    • Meeting Information: LLL of Clinton is offering monthly support meetings. We meet on the 1st Monday of the month at 10:00am. The Leaders are available for breastfeeding help by phone or email. They are also available for home and hospital visits. They may be contacted to do formal presentations on the most current and up-to-date information on breastfeeding and its many benefits.
    • Leader Information: La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone or email whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
